"Rochelle M.," now there is a name that will go down in history, probably, maybe, perhaps, in all likelihood, in a manner of speaking, to a degree. And why not? Ms. Rochelle, with her best selling book, The Building Blocks of Success, has set the business world on fire. The great hub‑bub over her book has arisen due to the incredible simplicity of her techniques. Using her easy to follow instructions, almost anyone can achieve whatever level of success he or she wishes. No wonder Ms. M. has become the most sought‑after guest speaker in motels all over the country! Before mentioning the secret behind the "Rochelle-Method," it is informative to examine this great woman's childhood in order to discover from whence her ideas came. Young Rochelle had the extreme privilege of attending the ever so excellent Creative Expressions class taught by the Legendary Mr. Christopherson in the fall of 1993. There is little doubt that this class had a major effect on the young girl. Up until that time young Rochelle spend the bulk of her time playing with her alphabet blocks, "Sharpening my building‑up skills," as she put it. The Legendary Mr. Christopherson showed the young Rochelle that by using these blocks one could actually spell out whole words! As one can well imagine, this opened up a whole new world for Ms. M. Thereafter, she did keep working with her alphabet blocks, but now, thanks to the excellent encouragement she had gotten from the Legendary Mr. Christopherson, she had more to do with them than just piling them up into a single tall, ordered stack (she admitted to having never achieved a pile higher than "R" due to the difficulty of keeping the pile straight, by the way). Now she actually gained the knack of forming real words out of them. Of course, the number of such words were somewhat limited since she had only 26 different blocks, one for each letter of the alphabet and each with that same letter on all six sides. But, in fact, this proved to be the key to her succeeding in the world of business. So there you have it. Ms. Rochelle's success is based upon that same set of blocks she spent so much time with as a youth. She found out that when business executives are very tense and angry, they need some way to calm down. After taking one of Rochelle's three day seminars at a comfortable fee of only $7,030.23, the executive learns the Rochelle-Method of forming words with blocks. What a terrific idea. This method really works. (There have been a few tragic exceptions: one woman jumped out a twelve‑story window after becoming incredibly frustrated at not being able to form her name, "Ann," from the mono‑character-per-block Rochelle set; and another fellow ended up speaking gibberish as a consequence of putting together too many nonsense words with the this same set of blocks.) What's next Rochelle? Another real blockbuster? |
